The Challenge

The objective was to create a disruptive brand identity and sustainable packaging for an ecological kombucha brand. The mission was to design a product that doesn’t just look good on a shelf, but actively contributes back to the environment through circular design.
Target Audience
I focused on a conscious demographic of 19 to 35-year-olds—people who enjoy the craft beer scene and local coffee shops, and who value sustainability as much as flavour.
The Creative Solution
This two-month project is centred on 100% circularity and innovative material use:
- Seed-Embedded Labels: I designed three distinct labels printed on recycled seed paper with natural inks, making the entire label plantable after use.
- Functional Repurposing: The final product features a recycled glass bottle designed with a «cut-line» guide, allowing consumers to transform their empty bottle into a permanent plant pot.
- Omnichannel Presence: Developed a cohesive visual language across label design, social media ads, and magazine layouts.
The Results
Cult Craft stood out among 80 competitors, earning a spot as one of 18 finalists to compete for a local brand contract. The project ultimately won the Golden Prize for Best Focused on Sustainability, proving that bold design and environmental responsibility are the perfect match.
