Objective
The primary goal of this project was to develop a full visual identity for Dip’n Heat, a craft hot sauce brand featuring a unique blend of lemon and peppers. I aimed to create a disruptive and high-energy brand image that captures the “sting” of the heat and the “zing” of the citrus through a bold, custom aesthetic.
Target Audience
This brand targets culinary explorers and spicy food enthusiasts (ages 18–45) who look for more than just a product—they seek a bold experience. It appeals to a modern, urban demographic that values artisanal quality and edgy, “funky” packaging.
Process
This project highlights a completely custom creative workflow. Over three weeks, I developed the hand-drawn typography and the central “Diablo” mascot—a character with fire in its eyes that embodies the brand’s intensity. Using Procreate for the initial sketches and Adobe Illustrator for the final vectorization, I focused on “halftone” textures and a vibrant color palette to create a retro-modern, street-art-inspired feel.
Results
The final result is a cohesive and professional branding package that stands out on any shelf. By combining handmade elements with digital precision, Dip’n Heat successfully communicates its spicy, citrusy personality. This project showcases my studio’s ability to build a brand from scratch—from custom lettering to character design.
