Objective
The goal of this project was to design a unique visual identity for a craft beer collection inspired by Colombian fauna. I aimed to reinterpret iconic species—like the Gorgona Blue Lizard and the Cotton-top Tamarin—transforming them into surreal “monsters” to create a bold, edgy, and memorable brand experience.
Target Audience
This campaign targets craft beer enthusiasts and young adults (ages 19–40) who appreciate street art, local culture, and avant-garde packaging. It’s designed for a bold audience that values storytelling and unconventional, artistic brand identities.
Process
Developed over three weeks, the creative process involved deep research into Colombian biodiversity followed by high-detail digital illustration. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I focused on creating “monsterized” versions of these animals through intricate textures, vibrant color grading, and organic shapes to achieve a “funky” yet professional commercial aesthetic.
Results
The final result is a powerful collection of beer labels that blend cultural pride with a dark, artistic twist. This project demonstrates my studio’s ability to take traditional themes and transform them into disruptive, modern visuals that stand out in a competitive market.
